Overview
Arif Khokar is a graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his MA Hons. in Visual Art in 2017 and his BFA in Painting in 2007.
He was awarded the best Young Artist thrice at Alhamra Arts Council Lahore. Khokhar has exhibited at Islamabad Art Festival (IAF-19) and curated shows for SPACES at Studio 7 Art Gallery Karachi 2018, and at Chawkandi Art Gallery Karachi, 2016.
Some of his notable shows include his solo exhibitions “Remnants”, “Constructive Residue” at KOEL Gallery, Karachi in 2018, “Between the Lines” at Chawkandi Art Gallery Karachi and “Line Makes You See the Drawing” at Nomad Art Gallery, Islamabad. His group shows include “TOUMA TIME REGAINED, visions from our own world” a collaboratively curated by Mohamed Keita and Koel Gallery Karachi, 2020.
