Moeen Faruqi is a Karachi-based painter and poet. Since the 1980’s his paintings have been exhibited locally as well as internationally. Faruqi’s paintings deal with estrangement and a sense of unbelonging. Men, women, and even animals convey the angst and alienation of existence in urban settings.
